Two "birds" with one "stone"
Getting rid of morons who drive way too fast and the growing road chicken overpopulation in one shot. I guarantee he'll slow down next time. Unless he was accelerating so he *could* hit the chicken, in which case, he deserves all of our respect. His sacrifice won't go unrewarded.

I'm no ballistics expert, but for a chicken to splatter *that* much, he had to have been going pretty dang fast. 100+ mph doesn't seem unlikely.
What happened was the bird thought he had more time to respond, but the Porche was moving faster than the bird realized, cutting down on his reaction time, to everyone's chagrin.
not *everyone's* chagrin...
It turns out the driver was doing 250+ Kph (155 mph). Obviously he was speeding up to teach the bird a lesson.
What's shocking is that the driver managed to slow down and stop without wrecking the car. With a collision at that speed, with the spray in the car (which must have hit the driver) they still managed to stop safely.
